I have felt the old north wind that blows

Right down to your soul

I have seen the rainy days

That would not end

I have crossed the cool blue waters

Shining clear with the light of day

I have seen the wild garden in the land

I have seen the summer's beauty

Of the sun and the forest green, I have

Felt the changing colors of the wind

I have known the dismal days that bring

The rain, never ending rain

I have seen the wild garden in the land

It's not all that it's cracked up to be

These days of wanderlust

You can throw my reasons to the wind

The wages of change have come

And shown themselves to us

It's wild land and my feet are sinking in

Stuck here in the middle of nowhere

Just trying to make a stand

You can throw my reasons to the wind

The wages of change have come

And helped us to understand

It's a wild land and my feet are sinking in

It's a wild land and my feet are sinking in

Wages of change, wages of change....
